Springtime Celebrations

It's officially Spring here in the Art Shop, and we're fully underway in celebrating it's many festivities! We have plenty of Mother's Day cards in stock for that last minute "panic buy", but mostly our shop is all prepared for Easter! 

Our Easter themed window, as pictured above, features art products that we sell in store in a range of Springtime colours, as well as work from Sam Toft, Debbie Boon, Graeme Lothian and Penny Lindop.

We've also decided to dedicate a whole window to the increasingly popular Quentin Blake illustrations; being nostalgic and full of humor, they would make a perfect gift for Mother's Day or Easter. 

We'd love to see you in the shop sometime soon, so why not come and take a look at the amazing pictures that we have in the gallery?

Christmas Is Coming...

The Sevenoaks Art Shop Christmas window is here! This week we've got a new selection of colourful artist's prints in the window, looking even more lovely with fairy lights and festive decorations. Look out for Sam Toft's quirky characters and endearing illustrations, as well as some fun dogs and cats adorned in hats. 

We have a range of lovely limited edition prints, from Perez to Dirty Hans (Santa hats not included!)

In the window you will spot some beautiful paint sets - just three examples of the sets we have in stock right now. The perfect gift for an artist, whether amateur or professional. And if you're still struggling for gift ideas, don't forget that we sell gift vouchers which can be used to buy art materials, art from our gallery and / or framing!

Pink Week for Breast Cancer Care

This week's window is themed around Breast Cancer Awareness, due to October being its official month, we've dressed out window with the pink and orange.. It features work from Graeme Lothian and Sam Toft, as well as various pink and orange art materials that we stock currently. We really hope that this helps create awareness and more knowledge of the wonderful events organised in Sevenoaks in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. This Week in the Window!

This week's window incorporates on-trend tones of blue and gold, as well as scenes that celebrate nature as summer comes to a close. It features pieces from Sam Toft, Debbie Boon, Graeme Lothian and Melvyn Evans.

New to the Gallery for July! featuring Penny Lindop

New additions have come in this week including fun, unique pieces by Penny Lindop, hand crafted with real sheep's wool to create characterful designs.
As always we have a large stock of works by Sam Toft in a range of sizes all framed in our workshop using high quality moldings that are available with our bespoke framing service.

Looking Bright for Spring

With the first signs of spring appearing and Mother's Day just around the corner we've put together a fresh window display with a sample of our beautiful Caroline Gardner Mother's Day cards. Also in the window we have limited edition prints by Debbie Boon that are so full of life and character, our favorite has to be the springer spaniel, just look at those ears!
Along with many new prints this week we have also had a recent restock from 'Retro Lamp Works' with more unique lamps now in our gallery.

Featured Artist: Sam Toft

Featuring in the window this week is Sam Toft, whose prints feature her characters, Mr. Mustard, his dear lady wife Violet with an eccentric host of pets, friends and sheep. Working in Pastel, pencil and unusual mixed media techniques, she creates an idiosyncratic world that evokes trips to the seaside in nostalgic colours and inimitabe style. She has exhibited work at numerous solo shows in London and across the UK. We are exhibiting a number of limited edition signed prints in the upstairs gallery, alongside smaller prints and greetings cards in our shop.

Spring Window Exhibition

We have rearranged our collection on display in the windows with a nod towards the winter landscape, with striking tree-lined avenues in photographs and skilled atmospheric watercolours by Mac McKeown. With a view towards spring, we have charming original work by Any Shattock and delightful prints from Sam Toft on display. The exhibition continues in our upstairs gallery.
